a finished painting

As you might remember, I've been keeping you updated (here, here and here) on a painting I've been working on. What I hadn't told you is that the painting for my friend Claire as a thank you for building me such a beautiful website! You may be wondering what ever happened to this painting, and the truth is that I had to step away from it for a few weeks because I could feel myself beginning to overwork it, but it's finally finished!

I kept the greys and blues that I originally started with, but brightened it up a bit and snuck some color in at the end! I hope you like it, and I especially hope that Claire likes it!
