hello from KC!

Well, we made it!! We're finally getting settled into Kansas City and are thrilled to be unpacking our suitcases for the first time in what feels like forever :) It was pretty tough to leave DC, but we're thrilled for the adventure ahead of us in KC! We've got a temporary little apartment while we look for our own place, so my sweet parents are letting me set up my easel at their house! I'm headed over there this morning to do that, so I'll be sure to post photos of my temporary work space as soon as I can. I'm also thrilled to be starting a new job on Monday at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art - I'll be their docent educator and volunteer coordinator, so let me know if you're interested in getting involved :)

Thank you for your patience while I've been off the blog. This week, I'll start posting a bit from each place we visited in these last few months, and some of the clouds I found along the way. These next few months are sure to be a little crazy between working, painting, and hopefully moving into a new house, but I can't wait to share it all with you!
