my dreams come true

My cloud obsession is no secret at this point. Still though, I don't think I realized just how obsessed I was until I heard that one of my favorite artists, Berndnaut Smilde, was exhibiting in Louisville. The moment I heard the news, I called the gallery, called J, and booked a flight to Louisville. It was a pretty crazy thing to do, even for me, but Berndnaut Smilde actually creates clouds indoors (INDOORS!) and I needed to see this happen. Luckily, when I explained my obsession to the gallery they actually let me come in and meet the artist, who showed me his process and made some test clouds for me. I am telling you, one of the coolest things ever. If you haven't heard of Berndnaut Smilde yet, read this and then get yourself to Louisville ASAP. The exhibit will be on view at the Land of Tomorrow Gallery through March 26th.
