a different kind of inspiration

Taking off and landing are always my favorite parts of the flight because we get to go through the clouds. I always make sure to get a window seat and then sit there snapping photos as quickly as I can, hoping that the shutter sound isn't driving everyone around me crazy. This weekend though, flying out of Kansas City (did I mention that my work trip allowed me to fly in and out of KC?!) I found myself snapping pictures of something other than clouds...
