a package!

Something very exciting was waiting for me when I arrived home today... the panel that I'll be painting for my sister and her fiancé's wedding gift!

Madeleine and Matt got engaged on the beach in Florida last fall, and Johnny and I were lucky enough to celebrate with them. Between champagne and dinner, I snuck out and took pictures of the sunset, knowing that my gift to them would be a painting of the sky from the night of their engagement. The wedding is June 2nd, so I've gotta kick it into gear and get this puppy going!
